May players travel freely between the Doomsday map and the base map? Are there any quests in the Doomsday map that would expire if players spend too much time in the base map once the quests begin?

You are required to use a transportation device at a certain location to travel between the maps, but you are free to do so at your leisure. There are no quests that are "time-limited" or ones that would close off.
