The game crashes regularly while playing. Sometimes it happens after 10-15 minutes, sometimes after 30 seconds. Drivers are up-to-date, PC components are well-cooled, no overclocks running (except for auto PBO on my 5900X).

The game used to run fine without any problems a year ago, and there has been no updates since. What could be the problem here? I've seen others posting about this years ago but nobody described this kind of problem.

Anyone else here?

It looks like it was PBO after all. I had it set to Auto, and Dying Light didn't like it. After disabling PBO completely, the game runs fine with no crashes for hours.

I have the same problem but I don't understand how it relates to PBO.

PBO is set to auto by default, and the auto setting IS the disabled setting.

Do you have these three options for PBO:

1. Auto
2. Enabled
3. Advanced (Enabled but allows tweaking)

How, exactly, did you disable it completely? Do you more options than those listed above?
got same problem what is PBO?
