Any idea what I can do to fix it?

No idea but a quick google search suggests that anything from corrupt fonts (remove them), crap antivirus (disable it), to citrix (remove it) can cause this. Unfortunately the list of potential causes is probably very long so good luck with crap proprietary engines <3

Accidentally, I have Citrix installed. Cannot remove it, though.
Quite disappointing. I didn't have any problems with Ludum Dare games that were made with Unity.

If you can disable citrix, not remove it, your game should be able to launch. As for various unity games, they are all built on different versions of the engine and behave differently with other software, so its hard to predict. But i can say fairly confidently that your issue is being caused by citrix.

Unfortunately, this is not the case. I don't have Citrix running 24/7. I turn it on only when I need it.

I tried it right now. Citrix is off. The game doesn't start.
Just FYI latest update didn't fix the game for me.
I've contacted support and they pointed out that Citrix adds Display Adapter. Removing it (there's no option to disable) allows DUSK to start.

Edit: Why cannot I mark my own post a solution?
