Dusk HD is releasing today (Dec 11) on steam workshop as a free update, I haven't seen any suggestion that it will be appearing on GOG though

So my question is can we pull that from steam workshop (as it is free and all) and use it on our GOG copy, or do we have to wait for when / if GOG also gets the update?

I'm not sure how it's going to work but there is a developer comment in the steam forums saying it's a free mod that will work with the non steam versions.

According to this tweet from Dave Oshry (New Blood's CEO) the update will come to GOG at a later time:

all we have to do is wait, it will come.
