So I bought the DLC for this game, but for the life of me I'm not sure if it has installed it? How can you tell if the DLC has been installed?

In GOG Galaxy go to your game page, eyes up, see 5 buttons? Select right button (2 dots on bars), mouse on third option with ">" and click on "Configure..."
You got new window with DLC list with easy install-uninstall one-click option.

Or, in ANY version, 'in game'-
From title screen, select 'Extras'. Then select 'DLC'.
