Hi.

I redownloaded and reinstalled dungeons 2 after receiving notice that the installer is updated. I reinstalled the GOG version 2 version (game version 1.436), but now I get this error after trying to start up.

Can I please get the GOG version 1 to see if this was a issue in the patch? The previous version worked fine and I was already on the 2nd demon mission, so I believe the patch introduced something that is breaking something, but then again it could be some changes on my part.

Has anyone encountered a similar bug? What can I do to provide more information to debug this issue?

had the same problem with the exact same "helpful" error message. I had installed the game traditionally without gog galaxy.

After starting the galaxy client, it downloaded another update of 2MB and installed it. Version number didn't change. I can play the game since then, even without gog galaxy.

It worked. Guys try Dokuro's fix. I honestly hope this was not a ply to get galaxy installs.

Another side effect is I lost Traditional Chinese Support in game, and that is quite annoying, but I will live with it.
