Just installed game and tried to play, but when i press campain or skirmish button nothing happens.
Tried this Workarounds but it doesnt work:
Workaround 1: [Windows only]
1. Head to your Steam directory ([your installation folder]\Steam\SteamApps\common\Dungeons2)
2. Create a file "config-priority.cfg"
3. Edit that file and add the line "MonoExe = server\dedicated.server.exe"
4. Start the game normally with your Steam client

Workaround 2:
1. Head to your Steam directory ([your installation folder]\Steam\SteamApps\common\Dungeons2)
2. Open the "server" folder
3. Right click on "dedicated.server.exe" and select "Create shortcut"
4. Right click on the shortcut and select "Properties"
5. Change the Working Directory ("Start in") from "[your installation folder]\Steam\SteamApps\common\Dungeons2\server" to "[your installation folder]\Steam\SteamApps\common\Dungeons2"
6. Start the game
7. In the main menu Alt+Tab out and start the server with your created shortcut
8. Start Campaign
Note: Everytime you're going back to the main menu, you have to use the shortcut again!

Any help?

Rindis: I'm having this problem too, and Administrator Mode and Windows 7 Compatibility Mode have not helped. (I'm little surprised, but there is such a thing, even on a Windows 7 machine.)

So full version again:
Windows 7 Pro

Game launches fine, going to the Single player menu works. But neither Campaign, skirmish or load game do anything. The first time I hit one of those buttons there is a delay, and then the click, but nothing happens, and there's no delay after that.

I tried the first workaround in the opening post (creating the config file) but that did nothing.

deadsource: This is a rather old post, but it was the first result in my Google search so I'm posting what I found.

You need to download and install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86) (Google it, as I can't post links). Now it works like a charm. I hope this helps someone :)
