In Ravenloft: Strahd's Possession, my fiance and I seem to be missing the items/spells in the topic subject. I know haste would really benefit us as Strahd is kicking our butts really bad.

Does anyone recall where they are? I tried looking in the Cluebook, but I couldn't find any mention of them.

Strahd can only be hurt by the Holy Symbol of Ravenkind. The Rod of Smiting and the Axe of Hurling won't faze him. A character needs to take it in it's hand and then you can click on it like a weapon. You can pass the symbol around to other party members during cooldown and let them use it too. The haste spell would be useful, as it reduces cooldoown. The spell is behind an illusionary wall in the Caverns beneath the Ivlis, IIRC.

Yep, what stryx said. It LOOKS like Strahd is being hurt by the Rod of Smiting etc., but apparently if you never use the Holy Symbol of Ravenkind you can hit him for hours and he will never die. In contrast, it takes about 6-8 blasts from the Holy Symbol for Strahd to go down, and like stryx says, you can swap the Holy Symbol between your party members to partially bypass the cooldown.
