I have had some issues running this on W10 with GBC. For the life of me, I can't figure out a proper order on how to start the game consistently. It always takes several tries, and several "can't find ID yada yada yada" error messages like these:

"Trying previous base address $DB21000...
- No ID match at previous address.
- Trying to solve base address by searching for 1st ID starting at $A100000...
- ERROR: Could not solve base address. 1st ID not found!..."

I've tried:
1. Staring the game outside GBC, and then starting GBC
2. Starting GBC, starting the game from the installation folder.
3. Starting GBC and starting the game from GBC

None of these seem to work consistently. And yes, I have remembered to "Begin adventuring".

Can anyone help? It's sometimes really frustrating spending 10 minutes just trying to get the game run.

Plus sometimes during the game GBC just drops out for no reason whatsoever. Luckily that can be usually recovered by saving and loading the game, and sometimes I run into the problem mentioned above.

Check the address range. The first address should be $1000000.

What game are you playing?

The Steam version of GBC is more streamlined as it starts with the game. I haven't yet have time to update the GOG version.
