Had to enter a word from the manual while trying to save a game. Simply pressing Enter, like what worked in PoD, did nothing.

Does typing anything (say, a single letter) and pressing Enter work? (That's how it works in Unlimited Adventures)

I guess it worked...

It would seem that GOG 'fixed' the copy protection the same way that I did back in the day...

Haven't tried that, but will. Thanks.

EDIT: Okay, tried typing just anything - it didn't work. You have to type in what it asks for, copy protection in full effect.

Yeah I saw an article when the first gold box releases came out where they said they left the codewheel protection in "for the complete experience" which sounds pretty bullshit to me. I mean they could at least give us the option.
My understanding was the the krynn games (the first two) had copy protection that couldn't be completely removed. For whatever reason you can't just crack them like the forgotten realm games.
