The game keeps asking me to put a disk in.

Also for some reason the game went from VGA graphics to EGA without me changing anything? Mouse is not working either (yes I've tried to activate it multiple times).

Any ideas?

This just happened to me today. "Is your save disk in drive x" where x was some sort of ascii character, and now x is 0.

Anyone find a workaround?
@entux where you able to find a solution?

For what it's worth, here is the message I keep getting (attached), and there's nothing I can do aside from closing the window.

Is there a way to change what I assume is DOSBox looking in the area for the wrong drive?

I've uninstalled and re-installed (including removing all save files), checked all of the config files in the CoK directory, and compared the configs with other working installations of gold box games (like Curse of the Azure Bonds).

My next step is to download and see if I can run DOSBox manually, but that's gonna be annoying.

For what it's worth, I was able to set up DOSBox and am able to run CoK manually through that. Went through the config files again in the CoK directory and still am not sure why DOSBox is running in CGA mode and looking for the 0 (zero) drive if I launch from GOG.
