This was one of my more favorite RTS games to play back when it was released. Unfortunately Atari abandoned this game like the plague. The many crashes with hardware related issues to the almost impossible to use map creator they made the game never made it far.

I will buy this again since I don't have my copy again but only once I hear people's repsonses to if the game has the freeze bug still. Once upon a time the game didn't agree with a piece of hardware, I think it was chipset related that would cause the game to completely lock up your system and had to hard reboot.

Is this bug still present or did CDProjekt manage to fix something, or has it fixed itself through out the years of changing hardware.

Well I've put a good amount of hours into this and so far i haven't gotten the bug I've had since release :D
Remember that GOG also fixes bugs. :) Have bought this game some minutes ago dont have any problem so far.

Yeah, that'd be pretty enjoyable too, but here's my thing, I was recently trying to get access to the coding for even a speck of a model outside of the DNDEditor.... there's nothing, it's more tighter than FBI secrets. Even stone I attempt to find and turn over gives me nothing in return, QuickBMS had nothing to help me (or I did it wrong) and other programs did jack, I wish that GoG would just release the script for owners to mod. Thankfully, I have a disk version of the game as well (that sometimes works) so that I may be able to uproot the script from the disk, because if I do get it from the disk, then GoG to me is trying to remove modding fun.
