Would it be possible to get the floppy version of Dark Sun 2 added as an extra?

Apparently it has some quirky sound options that people are speculating about on the VOGONS forum.
The CD contains full audio tracks, but you can run the game with MIDI instead. That will be the same as the floppy version.

The sound setup should be in sound.bat if I recall... anyway let me know if you still need help configuring this.
There are a couple of reasons I'd like the floppy version.
1) it's a smaller package, so I can stash it in my dropbox and not have to worry about which computer I'm playing on
2) I would be able to play it using my personal dosbox setup and not have to screw around with the GOG config files
3) The CD version will not let me pick anything other than CD Audio for the music, and I've spent a fair amount of effort in making MIDI sound good on my machine.
I'd like to second the request for the floppy version to be included as an extra.

The CD version is laden with problems: the voice acting is very poor, loading screens play a CD audio track which you cannot skip, the CD music is very poor, and you can't switch to MIDI, only the floppy version lets you hear MIDI music

I know this might be hard to find, but I'd really appreciate it, but please try.

Right now this game is in a limbo: it's not abandonware because GOG sells it, so I bought it, but now I can't find the floppy version anywhere on the internet. :-(

It's not possible. The CD-ROM version is either audio tracks music or no music.
