I have recently started replaying Dungeon Siege 1 and have an issue come up intermittently which is quite annoying.
Seemingly at random when casting a spell, the party portraits in the top left will shift up so that the first one falls off the edge of the screen and is completely unviewable. Once this occurs it seems to be permanent - it is even stored in the save game. I have to revert to an earlier save to resolve this.
I am using dgvoodoo2, with the game rendering at 1080p and then being transformed to 1440p by DGV to keep the UI scale reasonable. However, when the issue first occurred I tried many different graphics options to try and resolve but nothing worked. It seems to me to be a property of the save and nothing to do with the renderer, but happy to be corrected if anyone knows more?
Thanks,
