I don't know if this is common on single player, and it will unlock later, but I'm at Glacern (3 towns distance), and still unable to display the world map. Is the only icon in gray which I can't touch (bottom right in vanilla).

Maybe is an option, or a config.ini?

But there is an icon, and it is greyed out. See it at the bottom-right corner, in the screenshot I've updated to Siegetheday.

EDIT: Solved, you're right, apparently the world map is a Legends of Aranna feature, so will be greyed out in the Ehb campaign. Thanks.

Someone on Steam posted a method to get LoA for DS1 and it supposedly works with GOG version. It's in one of the threads here I believe, including links and all.

I'm currently into 4x games, but I'll likely be tempted to check it out one day. Hopefully while I'm still alive lol.
