First of I have the original DK and DD and DK2. But I run DK through DOSBox which runs pretty good. So to my question does this release use DOSBox or is it Win 7 native?

If it just uses DOSBox then I might save my money and spend them on DK2 which has the serious compatibility problems on Win 7, if DK2 will hit GOG, which I really hope :)

Thanks, and great to see this game on GOG, it should have been here a long time ago, but better later than never :D

I'll make this short: Yes, it's DOSBOX :)
Ok thanks, then I will wait for DK2, but great anyways, I have some friends, which should have the game.

Also is the soundtrack included (here I mean in game, i.e. the music in the game)? I mean the release is only 183 MiB, so if it is present they have made some hacks to use mp3 or the likes?
The cue-sheet contains tracks 2-7 as OGG Vorbis at about 90kbps... may seem like a big problem, but Vorbis isn't MP3 and the soundtrack compresses really well... it's not the same as uncompressed, but I didn't notice any distortion or echo.

What does the .conf file look lie? I would like to compared it to my own to see if they have any performance tricks or anything else :)
