I love, and I mean looooooooooove the DK series, but I am wondering if I should be patient and wait for DK2 to come along and get em both at the same time/discounted. Hell if they put out the first one, I dont see why they wouldnt put out the second one. Any thoughts on this?
Buy DK now, support GoG, play DK until DK2 is released. Then buy DK2.

Just my 2 cents.
I'd just buy it... I mean... cmon... I wish they had EA release this about... 6 months ago? when I bought a freakin copy of DK1 and 2 for $60 (40 for games 20 for shipping) from the UK..... grrrrr.... oh well DRM free DOS Box'd and damn awesome.... You Must Buy....... lol.. I know I am going to...
I agree - buy it now. I did. It's a great game, and only $6.

Plus I wouldn't expect any EA promos anytime soon since they are the big new publisher.
This sucks, only 3 games available now?
Meh I want DK2 !

Woah! Simmer down now. We just got three (well, technically four) great classics we didn't have before. Did you really expect them to dump all 25+ games onto the service on day one? Sure, at times I like instant gratification just as much as the next guy, but GoG needs to spread out the releases as well so they continually have new stuff to add to the catalog.
It's the 5.99 price point, I'd say buy it, likely a promo will only save you less than 2 USD anyway.
Dungeon Keeper 1 is the better game. 2 wasn't bad, but it felt sterile compared to the original.

No I didn't expect them to release them all now. But still these are ANTIQUE games, they can do an effort. I spend years trying to find a reasonably price DK2, and DK1 may be awesome, I prefer DK2 ( DK1 kills my eyes )

Try playing DK1 in high-res, then. The community is way ahead of you.

I'm not sure if DK2 will ever be released here. It's known to have lots of issues running on modern systems.
The original Dungeon Keeper is the better game, even without Deeper Dungeons or better graphics. DK2 may be more flashy, but it isn't as fun.

I ran it just fine, installed from the disk on Win 7 x64, Phenom II 1090t hex core CPU, 8gb DDR3, GTX 460 pretty modern system. Also played just fine on my Win XP single core 1 gb DDR 7600GT system.

I also lent it to my frient who played it just fine on Vista x64, Phenom 9150 quad core, ddr2, 9800GT.

I didn't have to do anything special to get it to run either nor did my friend.

Hm. Sounds a little familiar, as I've acquired a copy of Magic Carpet, which they'll probably release here next week, about two months ago. The price was much more reasonable though. Shit happens.
