Hi, two of us have downloaded the DK1 gold and are trying to play multiplayer. Unfortunately one of us keeps getting an error message of unable to initialise when we click IPX any ideas why or how to sort this out so we can set up a game and play? or any other way we can play multiplayer for that matter.

any help would be much appreciated.

There's a MP tutorial thread in this forum, have you tried the instructions there?

You've got to go to Multiplayer in the outer gray menu, the host will select to be the host, then go to mutliplayer in the DK menu, select IPX, and then have the host create the game. Then the others who did everything the same (but connected instead, and entered the internal IP address of the host computer (I'm assuming you're not trying to do this outside of a LAN) can join the game in the Keeper mutliplayer.

Also, I'd love to try to play multiplayer with any of you. Let me know if you're interested. I think we've got to use Himachi, but it seems simple enough.
