Does the multiplayer run better on Keeper FX or on the regular GoG DosBox version thing? Is something like hamachi recommended or am I better off just opening ports. Does the multiplayer run well at all in any version?

All versions are functional, but all are prone to lag if you have anything but a perfect connection between players.
