As a Windows 7 user, I've been having a lot of issues with this, even getting it to run. I've had plenty of times where the game just CTDs if I try to do too much at once. But now the game won't even open at all. The screen just goes black, then bam, back to the desktop. Any thoughts?

Run it under Win XP comparability mode.

I have the same issue, none of the compatibility modes work for any version of windows and the safe mode download does the same thing. I submitted a support ticket, and to my knowledge they are trying to find a solution.
