Music wont play in my game at all, only sound effects. I have KeeperFX Unofficial 4.7 installed.

It's quite easy to get it to work:
1) Place the music files (the .ogg ones that come with the GOG release) in the keeperfx\music directory
2) Open the launcher.exe of keeperfx, and in the 'Run Options' screen, select you want 'music files instead of a cd'
ok I have the same issue. There is no music directry and the only .ogg files I see are video files and they are in the main directory.
Are you perhaps using an ancient version of the game? If so, update to 0.4.7U. That has a \music folder for sure.

And those 'keeper02.ogg' files are in fact the music files.
Oh and another important point is that the music will only play if you also start the game from launcher.exe.

Even if you have done the changes, if you use another launcher it wont work.
That isn't true. The launcher is a way to run the game with specific command line options. You use the -nocd command line option to make the game play the music from the disk instead of the cd-drive.

But you can also run the game from the command prompt, or edit your shortcut and add '-nocd' and the music will play just fine.
I realize this is an old topic, but figured this might still be of use to someone.

After trying without any success whatsoever everything I could find about getting music to work, I made the discovery that with the OGG files in the \music folder, music WAS working so long as you did not "Load Game" (That is, the game is launched, but you go no further than the main menu -> options screen).

Therefore I checked all my settings (specifically the -nocd parameter), launched the game and began a fresh campaign with those settings and music was working perfectly.

Apparently, loading a game that was saved that expects to be using CD audio will cancel out the -nocd switch, so to get it working just be sure to start a fresh campaign in addition to the other tips above.
