Before I purchase, does anyone know if the old Infinite Gold, etc. keyboard cheats work with this version? Some days, I'm really eager to do a puzzle-solving fair fight (so far as creatures of darkness fight fair, I mean)...and others, I like to have the option to just be the richest, most sadistic brute in the land with a minimum of effort.

Thanks!

Well, I don't know if there was any cheats, but it's the same original game as always.
I could try them out for you if you want me to. Just tell me which cheats you are refering to and I will do my best =D But you should really get this awesome game anyway - it is not too hard =)
Well, I picked up the game and gave it a shot. Editing the creature file still works, but the 'please give all' command at the main menu doesn't seem to. :(
i want a trainer to get unlimited gold, all rooms, all spells, traps and doors.

the old codes don't work.

and the levels cannot be edit.

iam still lose on nevergrim the enemy attack very quickly he has a hole army and too high levels so my little army dont survive everytime and he has too many imps and stolen my rooms everytime so i sit when the enemy still defeat me because i have no army no imps all are zero (0).
Nevergrim can be either easy or hard, and it all depends on how do you play and how do you trick the AI. The AI can crush you if he attacks you early, so you have to slow him. Personally, I would start getting the dragons as fast as you can, and break the gold in the middle of the level so you get the flies before him (you will need bridges as fast as possible), and claim some tiles around the center too. Do bridges to get the two level up items too in each side of the level. Don´t forget to train and research as fast as you can meanwhile.

Once you have all this (you should have everything before the AI starts attacking you), retreat and sell all your bridges. Everytime you hear the AI screaming, he will attack you. Look closely at the map and pick an imp. Once you see a bridge touching your land, release the imp and use the speed magic so he gets the bridge before the enemy cross to kill you. Then sell the bridge. The AI will stop trying to attack you in a while. Repeat as many times as you want.

The predator room is awesome too. Use the eye spell to see which creatures has the enemy and put all the creatures from the same species on that room. You will start stealing his creatures :D (Not related to the level, but some levels later I won because I stole all the creatures from the enemy, so it was 102 creatures VS 0, so abuse the predator room).

Anyway, you just have to keep stealing any enemy bridge to your land and sell it before he attacks. That´s the way to keep playing without being attacked.
