What are the differences between DK Gold and KeeperFX, and how do I go about installing KeeperFX over DK Gold (if KeeperFX is the best version?)

1) Install Dungeon Keeper gog
2) Download KeeperFX here: https://keeperklan.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=137
3) Extract KeeperFX to a folder
4) Run the launcher, and click install. Point it towards your installed folder. Done.

As for differences, yeah, there's too much stuff to list. See herefor the full changelog. It's 1913 changes, and about 250 more if you update to the latest alpha.

But, in short, KeeperFX has been made to run natively on modern machines, plays in higher resolutions, fixes many of the bugs that plagued the original game, and comes included with user-made campaigns.
