Sorry for starting so many question threads, but I have one more:

The main menu of the game is missing music. Is this normal (i.e. was this how the original game was played), or a limitation of the GOG version?

I'm 95.763% sure it's working as intended. Only credits played the music from what I remember. I can however say that there was definitely no separate menu music (if there was anything playing, and I don't think there was, it was one of the gameplay pieces).
