Hi Guys,

I got the free copy of DK, but when I start it, it's so fast, and there's not way I can reduce the speed of the game from the settings.

Also, Is there a way to increase the resolution for the game? It looks very bad

ALT+R will increase the resolution whilst in-game. Try using CTRL+F11 to reduce the CPU cycles. If you accidentally make it run too slowly, you can increase the CPU cycles with CTRL+F12.

You can also change this in the dosboxDK.conf file, scroll down and modify the line cycles=80000

I tried the ctrl-F11-12 but on macbook those are for volume control. I tried fn and alt also cmd with no avail.

I tried lowering the cycled from the document from 80000 to 50000 but nothing has changed. Maybe I should go lower?

Is there a way to increase resolution? It's so jaggy it almost cut my eyes

I'm sure I'm not the only macbook user who's trying to play this game

Some guy said the Windows Ctrl+R is actually Option+R on Mac (or Alt+R, depending on what your Option key is labeled), not Ctrl. If that doesn't work, try Command+R.

As for editing cycles, I'd highly recommend setting the value to max or auto (I'm using auto myself, it works like a charm) instead of 80000 or 50000. Just type auto or max where you would normally type the numbers.
