Hi fellow GoGers,

(Noob question, slight spoilers for anyone who hasn't played the game)

I have just completed Level 4, the one where you have to go north and wipe out the enemy, and I found the hidden "transfer monster" and "increase level" items. I claimed the ground around them, and in at least one case I clicked to pick the item up, but neither of them seem to have been activated. I haven't been asked which monster I want to transfer, even after clicking the "next level" button, and all my monsters are still the same level as far as I can tell. Also, neither item is anywhere in my inventory.

Could someone please explain what the deal is with these? How do I make sure that I collect them, where do they show up in the inventory (if at all), and how do I use them? If it means I have to re-do the level, that's OK, but at the moment I'm completely stumped.

Also, when I initially stormed the enemy base, there were statues that claimed to raise monster level, not hidden at all. How do I use these, or what's the story with them?
