I had no idea Manhattan Project until I saw the trailer here and downloaded the game. I had played Duke Nukem 3D and another one on the PS1(don't remember the name) and figured they're all shooters. Are there any more Duke games like MP?

Actually, the very first thing you see in the 1st level of Manhattan Project, the pixel art with "Duke" graffitid next to it, that's what Duke looks like in Duke Nukem 1.

EDIT: Oops sorry, I meant Nukem II. Duke was kickin' ass with even less pixels than that in Duke Nukem 1. :)

Indeed. They were also included with the CD release of Duke Nukem 3D. I can't recall whether that was just the plutonium pack, or what.

Somewhat unfortunate that GoG doesn't provide those games, either as a freebie with DN3D or for purchase separately.

I have the original 3-episode (v1.3d) release of Duke Nukem 3D on cd-rom and it has the original games included. I'm not sure if the Atomic Edition had them though.

I think there was a Duke Nukem collection for the Pc once, not sure though.

I really think that Manhattan Project was kind of...underrated

too many people ignore it simply because its a platformer, which is ironic - considering that Duke nukem STARTED as a platformer

I really wish that they would make a new duke nukem platformer someday...

They were going to, for the PSP. Then they lost the rights when they changed hands to Gearbox. Pity, the game was almost out too.

In fact, the games are still going to be released, but they've changed their name to Extraction Point: Alien Shootout, I believe.

They are still going to release the first part of the Nukem Trilogy. It's called Critical Mass and it will be released in May to coincide with Forever. It's a shoot-em up not a platformer though

atomic edition did not include duke 1 and 2 only the 1.3d version did.

Agreed as well..played them..3D Atomic edition is the best so far..though Mahattan Project is good..it didn't live up to the promise that the 3D version did...

though now that Duke Nukem Forever ( no longer vaporware!!) is due to be released in May, perhaps our heroes here can get it for us.. :)
