I went to the setup and configured the game so i can play with WASD controls. However, because I'm an idiot, I can figure out how to make it so I can aim up and down with my mouse. Can anyone help me out?

To do so with the vanilla game just press U it enables mouse look.

You can also setup duke3d with eduke32, which will enable mouselook as well as other things if desired.

So in brief the GOG version is buggy and mouse aiming (U key) is not working at all for vertical aiming?
Hence the suggestion to use an alternative duke3d port/clone?
