Anyone else noticing obscure/interesting references in the game? There are fairly obvious ones like a character named Rince probably referring to Rincewind, but I spotted this one:

In the alchemy lab in Northrop there are 3 coloured liquids on a bench. When examined, the player character says "Red, green and blue. My father has a theory that these are the basic components that make up Driftmoon." These are the colour channels of a monitor, so the games visuals are made up of red, green and blue. But they are also the 3 'flavours' of the quarks that make up the "matter particles" (fermions?) of the universe. So, in a sense, the physical universe as we know it is made up of the basic components red, green and blue.

So is Winston (if that was his name) a particle physicist as well as an alchemist?
I actually didn't even think of that interpretation! Good one, it's got a triple meaning now.
Nice find! Yes this game has a lot of great references. Clicking bookcases is always interesting. Ville, are you a fan of Muse? :D

Yes, a big Muse fan, especially the early works. :)

I remember blowing a speaker out in my brothers car blaring "Time is running out" as loud as it would go, good times
Interesting to find a condensed Bible in the game, too.

Yes, but only about a third of it, lol. And no, it's not included in the playing time estimate. :)

Most of the references in Driftmoon are of things we find either cool, interesting, funny or worth giving credit to. Since the whole world of Driftmoon has originated from our hearts and souls, it's got a lot of us in it. Whether you think that's a good thing or not depends on you. :)
I'm looking for Notrium references, but haven't found any.

There's more than one in there for you to find. :) You'll probably discover one of them in the Gaunt Grounds. I don't want to spoil the whole thing for you, but I'll tell you that it involves a very peculiar plant.
