I can't pick it up, it's the one in the ice just below the moving door on that bit where if the PC stops walking he gets booted to a previous point in the iced path.

What am i missing ?

FIRST: Would it be possible for you to send us a feedback message from within the game, from where the "broken" goldfish appears? You can do it easily by pressing the letter F while playing, and we'd really appreciate the help. :)

What version of Driftmoon are you using? I'm not 100% sure, but If I recall correctly I think that particular goldfish (or the unfortunate goldfish position) which appears for about 1 in 10 players is fixed for the newest version.

If the goldfish is indeed fixed for the newest version like I suspect, the way to fix the problem on your computer would be to update the game, and load from right before you sneak inside the castle.

The version is 1.012 and in the menu bar on the left it says the game is up to date.

Absolutely, i enjoyed playing the game very much, can't wait to see what you guys come up with next ;)

Ah, ok, i can live with a bug, it's the thought that i was maybe missing something that drives me nuts ;)
