Just installed this (and applied the GOG patch, which by the way reports invalid or corrupt signature) and have two questions:
1. Why does the game "call home"? As soon as I ran it, my firewall reported connection attempts (and HIPS lists permissions granted to it for the connections registry entries), which I said nope to. By default I see the autoupdate option unchecked, so shouldn't be that.
2. I see topics here about version 1.013, but the GOG update takes it to 1.012. So is 1.013 actually the latest version and you can only get that through the autoupdate function? :/ Also, what's the changelog to that, as in is it relevant to the GOG version?
