This is really tripping me up, and I can't find a solution!

When I first got to the place on the map (I don't remember off hand what it's called) where Arabella (the wolf locked in a room) lives, I explored around and did all the quests, except the one involving Arabella.

The reason I didn't do this one initially was because, first of all I couldn't figure out how to open the door at first, and could only talk to her from outside. Secondly, I wasn't sure exactly what I was supposed to do anyway (I've since read that there may be multiple possible solutions).

Anyway, I just ignored it, and now I'm at the point that I've done all the other quests, right before I can go with that old man to some new place (I forget the name of that too, sorry), but I think I may be nearing the end of the game, because he says once I go there I can't come back (although there was a similar situation with the submarine).

So now I'm going back and solving unsolved quests/side-quests, and this is about all that I have remaining to figure out. I read some people said I could send Arabella to one person or another, but if I talk to her, or any of them, it doesn't seem to be an option.

However, she wants some kind of proof of her master's death, and mentions a statue/figurine (I remember having a few figurines at one point but I can't seem to find them in my inventory. I don't remember what I did with them, or even if I collected them all, but I've been everywhere so I don't see how I could be missing any, and I know I wouldn't have sold them or given them away unless I had to).

Am I doing this the wrong way somehow? What am I supposed to do?

Just activate the Stone Giant skill when she waits for you to prove that you've killed her master.
Oh, I never would have guessed that. Doesn't it kill her though?

Nope ;-) Just give it a try.
It worked! Thanks.
