The Minimum system requirement says Windows 10 but I've been playing on Windows 7 without issue.

It probably just means no dev tested explicitly whether it runs on Win7 or not, while they did test Win10.

It makes sense, mind you. Even Extended Support ran out >3 years ago, and security updates excluding a handful of critical components ended beginning of this year. At this point, sitting on Windows 7 is playing russian roulette with other devices on your network as you are intentionally keeping an attack vector open.

Sure, works for you. But it's understandable that as a developer, you wouldn't want to have Windows 7 installed on a dev device as that's much too risky, hence no testing being done.
