Dread Templar update 0.9.63c Pixelate setting
• Players can now play the game with the pixelated retro-style by going to Options>Filter and ticking Pixelate On.

• The latest build contains 5 filters on Options>Filter>Filters, the above mentioned pixelate setting affects all the filters except "Green Boy".

Dread Templar Update 0.951f New "Hit Marker" feature
• "Hit Marker" will allow you to see when you deal damage to an enemy and will change color when you perform a headshot.
Picking up non key card items
• The non key card items will be shown on the screen after you pick them up, so you can now clearly understand what you got.
Side Area stats
Level stats and level summary panel now show the "Side Area" stats.
Mouse sensitivity settings improvement
• Some players in the community requested to be able to enter more decimal places to get a higher precision mouse sensitivity. Now you can press Enter to call out the input field and enter mouse_sensitivity 0.0000 to adjust this parameter.
New weapon behaviour
• "Unarmed Strike" is now available after you throw katanas. For a long time, it has been set to be unable to use melee attacks after throwing the katanas. Players sometimes had to switch their katanas from throwing mode to melee mode. Now, you can finally make unarmed attacks during the cooldown.

Dread Templar hotfix 0.920f • The E1M2 "falling bug" fixed
A bug caused by the last update, which prevented some players from proceeding from E1M1 to E1M2, has been fixed.
Here's how to proceed:
Please load your E1M1 save data. Take the elevator from E1M1 and you can now go to E1M2 as intended. Please do not load your E1M2 AUTOSAVE directly, the AUTOSAVE is not updating the player's location correctly.
• Improvement: Unlock a new level in the Level Select mode
Once you come to a new level in campaign mode, this level will be unlocked in Level Select mode right away (as opposed to previously having to be completed first).
• Halloween... Forever?!
We've been happy to hear that you guys enjoyed the Halloween special feature, and the feedback requesting it to stay in the game was immense! Sure enough, your wishes have been heard. For now, the Halloween event's features will close, but the full Halloween content will officially become a part of the game as a secret area in the upcoming EA Content Update #4 in December 2021.
Dread Templar Halloween Update 0.920b Greetings templars!
Halloween is right around the corner and we have prepared a very special update for all players!
Until November 11, a door close to the elevator at the end of the level in E1M1 is open, and a portal leading to the Halloween side area has been activated. You will face resurrected monsters and their master, Headless Necromancer - can you become their worst nightmare, again?
In the Halloween side area, you can:
1. Obtain a Halloween-specific emblem Pumpkin Curse for your trap launcher, which greatly increases the damage of lightning stun and reduces the max HP of enemies. This effect will be more powerful during Halloween.
2. Obtain several weapons in advance in E1M1, but they do not come for free - you need to explore the level, find special tokens or win them in a shooting gallery minigame, and exchange them for these weapons.
3. Face the revenge of the Headless Necromancer - tell it who's the boss here!
Additionally, we have prepared a contest for all owners of Dread Templar - Take a screenshot of your achieved high score in the Halloween shooting gallery minigame, share it on Twitter and include the name you would like to be known in the game as, and the hashtags #DreadTemplar #Halloween #Contest and tag the account

Dread Templar update 0.918e Boss: Hell Knight (Full Form)
• Skill "Light Fall" now has a 18 sec cooldown, but the damage is slightly increased.
• Skill "Black Hole (big)" now has a 10 sec cooldown, but the duration is slightly increased.
Character
• Player character now jumps more easily when going down slopes/steps.
Level Improvements
Tutorial Level:
• Adjusted the "Air Dash" area - it will now be easier to dash to another platform while mid-air.
• Fixed a bug where you couldn't switch back to dual pistols after switching to dual katanas in the tutorial level.
E2M3 side area:
• Rebalanced the demons and supplies and adjusted some terrain in the side area of E2M3 - players will now have more room to get through this side area.
Menu and Settings
• Level stats display: You will now be able to turn on/off the level stats display by pressing "Tab", or in Settings>Game Settings.
• Nightmare difficulty in Level Select mode will be shown once players enter the nightmare portal.
• "Previous Weapon" default key has been changed from "Tab" to "Q".
• You will now be able to choose to go back to the main menu or continue to the next level after completing a level in the level select mode.
• Fixed bug that sometimes caused Black Bow golden emblems unable to be equipped in a skill slot.
SoundFX improvements
• Redone the Inferno Rocket launching sound effect.
• Added a SFX for character landing on the ground.
• Fixed an issue that some area's SFX volume did not follow the set value.
Save Points
• Adjusted and added some save points.
• All levels except E1M1 will have a save point at the beginning.
• You will now be able to Save/Load a data by double-click on Save/Load panel.
Difficulty adjustments
• Rebalanced the Hell difficulty, added a few small health packs, but slightly increased the damage of demons on Hell difficulty.

• Fixed a bug where doors in E1M4 couldn't be opened
• Fixed mouse scroll inverting back to default setting after loading a new level
