I was looking forward to play this game, as I am a big fan of The Longest Journey / Dreamfall games, and the story seems quite intrigueging at first.
Unfortunately, the game is unplayable for me right now. It keeps freezing every 5 or 10 minutes of gameplay, without any apparent cause. I first thougt it froze up when a cutscene started, but this doesn't seem to be the issue. It froze when I was simply walking throug the farm, without any object or character interaction. The graphics are stuck and the music keeps playing in the backgroud.
I'm not experiencing any issues with other games on my computer. I have an Intel i5 4440 CPU, 16 GB or RAM, an an nVidia GeForce GTX 1070 graphics card. The game version is 1.1.0.10.
Is anyone experiencing such issues with this game? Do you have a possible fix for it?
LE: I checked the Event Viewer and found this message when the game froze: "Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered.". Also, if I don't close the game from task manager, a popup shows up with a popup about a low level failure and the game close after being unresponsive for 120 seconds (I couldn't get the exact message because the popup and the game process closed when I tried focusing the popup window).
