Anyone know why this game is region locked in Australia? Can't find info anywhere.

I came here to ask the same thing. I got an email saying the game was now available, but clicking on the link to the game's store page in the news article just takes me to the gog.com homepage.

Now, that`s a very interesting question. I don`t know about the laws in Australia, I only heard that they can be weird, when it comes to computer games, so I think, Drakensang contains something that your government doesn`t like.
But again, I don`t know australian laws.
Maybe they think, WW II is still going on and they have to fight Nazis by banning games from Germany? :-D

Yeah I was thinking that it might be banned here but apparently it did get an official rating here and had a physical release at one point ( https://www.classification.gov.au/titles/drakensang-dark-eye ). So I have no clue why digitally its being region locked.

Contact support and get an answer. They may have simply not ticked a box.

Here we are almost exactly a year later, and the game still isn't available to me despite the official M Rating in Australia.

It's most likely a licensing issue. I don't see any other reason they wouldn't sell it in AUS.

Saw the game on sale and though "Yay! The licensing or roadblock has been sorted out."

Sadly no, click "Add to cart" and it stays "Add to cart", :(

Kind of sad as this game honestly looks interesting.
