In the DOSBox configuration for the game, there's a line that says either aspect=true or aspect=false. True corrects 320x200 and 640x400 games to 320x240 and 640x480 respectively to keep the intended 4:3 aspect ratio.

Ah sorry, yeah. It was an offhand comment relating to how GOG didn't pay much attention to the setup of this game.
May I suggest renaming [autoexec] to [AUTOEXEC.BAT] in a future version to emphasize this difference? Oh wait, that would make previous config files and frontends incompatible, nevermind then.
