This is probably and unfortunately never going to get addressed if there isn't already a way to do it.

Is there a way to make it so the arrows show on the top, left, right and bottom edges of the screen instead of having them all crammed down at the bottom? It's kind of stupid having a game that you're supposed to watch make you stare at a compass below the animation so you know which direction to push fast enough. If the up arrow was at the top of the screen, left arrow on the left, so and so forth, I'd know immediately which arrow to push, without having to waste half a second actually focusing on the bottom of the screen just to know where to push. It was stupid when they did this on the PSP version and it's still stupid in this version (In fact I am astonished that it still works this way. As no one realized this is the wrong way to go about a game you're supposed to watch almost like a movie?)

I couldn't agree more!
By the way, I've seen videos out there in the net that have the arrows displayed exactly as described above (although I don't know which platform it is from)

You can download Dragon's Lair from the Windows Microsoft Store and that version has the arrow keys displayed on the top. However, there have been complaints that the controls don't work with the keyboard or gamepad. That you have to click on the arrows. I dunno how true that is, but it's an option if you wanna check it out
