1Macready: Just a FYI that ReShade can cause 100% repeatable crashes in some zones (e.g., Watergod’s Altar). You zone in, your game auto-saves, and then hangs. When you reboot and try again, the game hangs again after loading your save.

When I found myself in this position, I initially thought my save was corrupt. But after reinstalling and testing against a clean installation, I was able to load the save. Then I gradually reintroduced mods and such and figured out that ReShade was responsible.

I created an issue thread at the ReShade forums, but the mods there just deleted it (lol). So it seems they aren’t interested in fixing the issue. I’m just posting this so people are aware that recent ReShade versions are not entirely DDDA-friendly… and so you don’t just assume your save is corrupt!
