been playing awhile lvl70 now but there seems to be an increase in glitches with inventory and weird saves. Often I cannot add oil to my lamp when it runs out, trying to spark the inventory gods by unequipping/equipping, getting a new lamp, using oil to combine directly rather than from the lamp menu etc doesnt work. let me tell you it makes dungeon runs in pitch black very exciting. lol that leads me to other inventory glitches, combining mats in my inventory is greyed out, tells i dont have the items. same with enchanting, I often cant despite having the cash/items. I cant equip/give items often to myself via my pawn/storage. Im the right class, not overburdened either. My characters name is grayed out in the inventory screen and i cant do squat. I can give the weapon/armor to pawn, but not the other way. going thru storage doesnt work mostly but I have been able to equip the armor via storage route sometimes but not always.

other weirdness are items disappearing from my main, scavenged mats gone and hopefully put in storage but i cant be sure. I did not die. saves seem to be lagging as well with a few quests repopping up after completion and having to redo the whole thing.

i mean... wha da f.... ghosts in the machine? my settings are online for pawn but i dont go thru galaxy, i always have the server error when i start. recently i started the game thru galaxy and got the cloud save sync notice but lost some quests. some items were usable but not all. my bags were near empty when they were chock full.

its tiring is all im saying all these annoyances. is this caused by server refresh not working? i read others that say to just play offline and be done with it....

I'm playing for the first time in online mode ever in this game today. I am noticing strage issues as well and this game seems very...VERY buggy and glitchy the more you dive into it.

I changed back to offline mode and only go online mode when entering the rift to recruit pawns. I just feel bad I can't gift any players pawn for help because apparently that is not working as well.

I've heard gog will give you a refund though since the state of the game is such a mess at times with the core feature of online, friends..FRIENDS SOCIAL!!!...is broken lol

Strange, I've played over 220 hours by now, the vast majority of them online, and haven't experienced any inventory issues. Actually haven't had any bugs beside the whole borked pawn renting.

From my understanding, your character's inventory is local info only and doesn't get uploaded to whichever server handles the online functionalities. Even with your pawn, only equipped gear gets uploaded, afaik.

Sounds to me like savegame corruption, but I'm not really sure how you'd go about fixing it.

thanks for the replies, I signed into game via galaxy and got the save sync, i was then able to access the gear i wanted. alot of mats were still inaccessible to my main (couldnt give her potions etc from storage or pawns) but able to give to pawns. its weird. gonna play from now on offline except when renting pawns like everyone else and hope for the best.

I never have received any messages or gifts from pawn rentals but i still gift and message those that i rent. to me thats not really important but rather having access to pawns as i level, which i hear is very hard later in game. oh well, enjoyed it till now so if it all goes ballz up later i got my moneys worth. heck, my fav thing to do is to just take off directionless and see what happens and find secrets. most of the quests have resolved into grinding (go fetch this or that or kill that in that area you already cleaned out twice lol)

for any that may have the same issues, changing my vocation reset all my inventory/equip and I was able to carry on. di was online while doing it and also going thru galaxy just in case
