New to the forum, hope I'm posting this in the right place.

I have been having an odd issue with the game - during dialogue and when I open shopkeeper's inventory, there is a noticeable 5 second long delay which gets progressively worse as I play.

Specifically, I play the game for about 5 minutes (flawlessly) and then begin to notice lag during conversations with party members/npcs, menus, and when opening shopkeeper's inventories. This becomes more pronounced after about 20 mins of game play, then loading screens also get much longer.

I looked online and found that applying the 4gb memory patch seems to be the best way to deal with these issues (or at least be able to play the game for longer periods without them)

However, I am extremely confused by the fact that after applying this patch to both the game's exe file and its launcher there is zero change in my issues at all. In fact, having checked task manager, the game is never using more than 1GB of system memory. In fact, it uses LESS memory over time.

If anyone has any suggestions for how to fix this issue, I would be willing to try anything at this point. Google searching has not helped me. My laptop specs are below:

OP system: Windows 10 63-bit
Processor: Intel Core i5-7200U CPU@ 2.50GHZ (4 CPUs)
Memory: 8GB RAM
GPU: Nvidia GTX950m
