At first the DLC didn't appear when I downloaded the game off GOG. The DLC patch did nothing.
Soon, I figured out that I needed to verify the files, which brought all the DLC into the game.
Then something weird happened - all the DLC vanished. Every time I play the game, I have to verify the files.
Each and every time I go to play the game, the DLC is gone and I have to redownload it.
Has anyone else had this problem?

I've never had this problem, so this is just a guess.
First: check C:\Users\Username\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\Settings and see if Addins.xml is set to read only.
Second: Are you using Vortex Mod Manager? It is known to cause problems with Addins.xml.

Thank you for responding!
Addins is NOT read only. Do I verify the files again and set it to read only?
Also, I do use Vortex but for different games. It's not set up for Dragon Age, but the Settings folder is acting like it is. It has a file called Addins.xml.vortex_backup and another file called vortex.deployment.dragonage-settings.json.

I would try verifying the files again, deleting both the vortex files. and then set the Settings folder to read only and see if it retains your DLC's.

Note: You won't be able to leave the folder read only, because mods you add will need to add to the Addins.xml.
But if it retains your DLC's after doing it, you can be fairly sure that vortex is the problem and look there for help.
