These sound really interesting to me, and have pretty decent reviews, so I'd like to get them. However, I saw a picture on GOG's Dracula 4 page that completely turned me off: (http://2a34166a1c224507ff54-79590be14f37a3e58649da10f58ee927.r67.cf1.rackcdn.com/tips/full/11489/1372093888.jpg). I have nothing against those people who enjoy those sort of puzzles (my girlfriend is addicted to Big Fish / Wild Tangent hide-and-seek games, and they're chock full of that sort of thing); they're just not something that I find enjoyable. To me, they feel like "busy work" - extraneous elements thrown in as filler, and they bring the story to a screeching halt.
My question is, do the first three games have the same sort of puzzles?
EDIT: I just want to stress that I mean no disrespect to the developers, or to people who enjoy this sort of puzzle in their adventure games; I'd just rather play a puzzle game if that's what I'm in the mood for, than to have the genres combined.
