Hello,

I'm stuck at the Hopkins dialog situation in the asylum, where you have to brew the anti-vampire solution and apply it to the revolver. After that you're supposed to to get new dialog options with Hopkins, and he then gives you his spectacles.
I've done this several times (by loading an earlier save again), but to no avail.

I'm still only getting the three squares, revolver, ring, and one blank, in the close-up view. The same ones you get after giving him the fly. I clearly have the green glowing revolver in my inventory.
What can I do?

Loaded a savegame from the web to skip this particular situation. Problem solved.
