How does PB decide on what level of enemy to spawn in a given map?

my question is more about those maps that replace map01 but are already throwing cyber-"Pinky" bull demons at the Doomguy

Try this, from Main menu, select Project Brutality Options - Global Settings - Spawn Presets and set it to Dynamic Progression. Now the monsters should coresponding with the level difficulty.

Double checking....It was already set to that.

Notably I noticed it happening in only a few wads
