Unless I'm just not looking in the right place, I cannot find the Brutal Doom options including blood amount etc. when running Brutal Doom via the most up to date version of GZ Doom.

I am forced to use this one because my AV software began constantly attacking and disabling the old build the past week, presumably after a recent update, but the up to date one is left in peace.

However, the blood in Brutal Doom when running in this version sucks and I can't find the Brutal Doom Options menu to fix it.

Am I missing something or is it a bug?

EDIT: I've looked everywhere and it certainly is not there. I cannot use the old build because my AV keeps removing it despite the scans showing it's safe.

The blood amount is stuck on a shitty setting and the Brutal Doom Options submenu from older GZ Doom builds is gone.

HOW THE HELL DO I FIX THIS?!

I just responded in the Brutal Doom thread. I think it's because BD is trying to edit the standard menus rather than creating its own, and during the dev builds of 3.2 the GZDoom author made it so that editing the standard menus is no longer allowed. Your options are go back to an earlier GZDoom version (whether that be stable or a dev build), wait for BDv21 (which is currently due for open beta by the end of this month, and full release planned for end of November) or edit the mod yourself to fix the error (the MENUDEFS needs altering to specify a new options menu).

Oh, and you can still edit the ini file you are using with a text editor to set the value for the amount of blood and janitor settings, etc. provided you know what the variable names are.

I recieved your message on the other post. I'd been posting in a few places because I was desperate to get it fixed.

Thank you for your advice, I can wait for Brutal Doom 21 in November and use GZ Doom 3.1 until then.
