Hi, someone know if Is planed to add the mac and linux versions for this games?.. Thank you.
It probably won't happen, but you can still install the games via Wine or use innoextract to get the game data. see https://doomwiki.org/wiki/How_to_download_and_run_Doom
Yes, it's a little bit of extra work to get them running on a mac, but it's definitely worth it :)! I used Wine to access the .wad files (because I'm not familiar with innoextract), and ZDoom to play the games (DOOM, DOOM II, FINAL DOOM).
Thank you guys. I know that is possible to run it with wine or similar, but this games exist in Mac versions so would be great if I can install from galaxy or downloading the Mac version..
Thank you for your comments I don't knew innoextract.. I will try it. ;)
1 and 2 etc.: Sourceports have had Mac versions for ages, and since out of the box these use DOSBox you can just use the Mac version of that. There is no reason to use Wine outside of extracting the files. You should be packing a source port for new levels anyways.

If Heretic and Hexen end up here anytime soon, it's exactly the same for those.

3: Well, ioDoom3 is a thing but last I checked it wasn't anywhere near complete.

Hi guys!

I'm using a Mac and it would be very good, if the entire DOOM series would work on OS X natively and we don't have to use third party programs (like Wine) to play these awesome games. If the GOG Team or anyone else can do this, it would be mind blowing for me and for many people too. Thank you for reading my post.
