Looks like you've missed whole purpose of the current topic..

From what I understand, the goal is to make the DOOM 1+2 package, which requires Windows 10 or higher, work on Windows 7. And my post goes beyond that by offering an option for potato PCs that don't meet the other requirements of the package.

Of course some things will be sacrificed in the process, but in the end, you will get the complete thing, i.e. the wads running decently on low-end software/hardware.
