the game does not start when I start in the GOG launcher but it starts when I run in the shortcut created on the desktop, does anyone know how to solve it?

I'm having this same issue, although it doesn't start from the shortcut either. The shortcut just opens the GOG launcher

Same problem here... does anyone has an idea?
After starting just a black screen for a few seconds and then i'm back in GOG launcher and the start button is green again.

Having the same problem with Doom 3. Looks like it's crashing on start. Does creating a desktop icon fix it?

dobguy: Having the same problem with Doom 3. Looks like it's crashing on start. Does creating a desktop icon fix it?
It seems to work when you start Doom3BFG.exe from ...\GOG Galaxy\Games\DOOM 3 BFG\

I think the issue is due to the overlay. Turn off overlays in the settings for gog galaxy and all should be fine.
