DOOM 3/BFG GOG edition doesnt have controller support??

For me atleast the setting in the bfg edition needed enabled for the controller to work granted thats when using a xbox one controller where as I don't recall needing to on old Xbox controllers nor do I recall needing to on other controllers but its been sometime sense I had used none x-box one controllers for this this game and don't feel like digging em out

If you want controller support in the original non-BFG Edition version of the game, you might want to consider using the dhewm3 source port since it has support for SDL2-compatible controllers. The menus however will be clunky since it was designed for a mouse
